With the City of Cape Town having just rolled out their new logo, Infestation was asked to put together the look and feel for the second Arts & Culture Indaba, ensuring that the various collateral elements pulled from the new logo in its various aspects. Without a concrete secondary language, this meant working closely with the City of Cape Town to ensure that the brand was distilled into an effective communication medium without diluting or disrupting the brand.

Under the theme of “Engaging, Collaborating and Building Together”, the look and feel for the Indaba was constructed out of the concentric circles that the City of Cape Town logo creates, and interlinking them to show the interconnectedness of the event. The colour palette was formed from the primary palette of the logo, bringing out energetic and vibrant collateral that spoke to the eclectic and exciting nature of the Arts & Culture Indaba.
