The Swedish Association approached us to do a cover illustration for a report on the international aid work that they do in Indonesia.
The illustration is comprised of four landmarks – two from Sweden and two from Indonesia. These represent the four cities that have been working together internationally to help develop Indonesia. It depicts people collecting trash, reflecting Indonesia’s massive garbage problem and one of the main focuses of the Association’s work in the area.
The landmarks include the Pinocchio statue in Borås and a castle in Helsingborg, Sweden, as well as a bridge in Probolinggo and the volcano in Palu, Indonesia.
